We need Assembly Technicians to help build the best Small Scale Canning Lines. As an Assembly Technician, you will be an integral part of a small, fast-paced, quality-driven team that is responsible for building products to meet production and customer demands.

We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is a creative thinker with a strong work ethic to help our business expand to meet customer demands. Being a team player who is detail oriented with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills is essential.

What CODI is looking for:

Someone who can do the following;

• Mechanical assembly of Automated Canning Systems to meet CODI expectations.

• Building Sub-Assemblies following procedures

• Installing Sub-Assemblies onto Filler

• Ability to Follow Instruction and Standards

• Keep Work Area Clean and Organized while getting work completed.

• Optional electrical assembly of automation systems to meet CODI expectations.

• Assist in the implementation of both 5S and KanBan

• Must be comfortable standing for periods of time

• General mechanical abilities

• Self-motivated and very dependable, we take attendance seriously

Who CODI is looking for:

• Can learn technical skills and become versed in equipment

• Work well independently, with little day-to-day supervision

• Have some experience working with their hands and small tools, such as in construction or other industry

• Have an aptitude and/or experience working with computers

• Are physically able to kneel, bend and stoop and can lift up to 60 pounds

• Appreciate the importance of safety and following strict safety and technical protocols

• Communicate effectively with fellow team members, and supervisors

CODI Manufacturing is a Colorado company that has provided equipment for the packaging industry since 1992. We are looking for field service technicians to provide installation, commissioning, operator training, general maintenance, and technical support for our customers. Our service technicians travel around the world and work in a wide variety of facilities ranging from micro breweries to can manufacturing plants.

 

Minimum requirements:

 

• High mechanical aptitude

• Proficiency with hand tools

• Patient and detail oriented approach to problem solving

• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and internal teams

• Availability to travel (50% - 75%)

• Entry level (no previous work experience required)

 

Preferred experience (not required):

If one or more of these applies to you that is excellent

 

• Degree in engineering or related field

• Experience working as a maintenance technician (any industry)

• Experience working in breweries or beverage packaging

• Basic understanding of packaging equipment (conveyor systems)

• Familiarity with CODI equipment

 

This position requires a minimum of 50% travel (2 weeks per month). When assigned to a project in the US or Canada you will be expected to: travel to the site Monday morning and check in with the customer in the afternoon; work full days (8 to 12 hours) Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; check out with the customer Friday morning and Travel home Friday afternoon.

 

When traveling to Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Asia, or South America you will typically be expected to stay for 2 weeks consecutively.
